Mrs. Bernadette De Bellote
Bernadette Nelson-De Bellotte has over 38 years of experience in teaching and instructing. Mrs. De Bellotte is the mother of two biological children, a son and a daughter; however, over the years she has been mother to many. She is a nurturer and an advocate for educational advancement. Mrs. De Bellotte specializes in mathematical concepts and principles for children and adult learners. She is a certified Teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Education Administration and a Certificate in Sociology and Teacher Education.
Mrs. De Bellotte started her career in 1985. Throughout her journey she taught at the Hermitage Government School and the Beaulieu R. C School. Additionally, she was instructor for Adult Literacy within the Ministry of Education and Coordinator for the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network.
Mrs. De Bellotte tends to bring her classroom alive with real life experiences that captures the minds of the learners. She believes that in education, it’s not about where you started but how you finish. She can be described as an educator/instructor for life.
